Employee Spotlight – Thomas Harry Caddick

We are keen to introduce you to the next Precisa UK team member to be featured in our Employee Spotlight Series, Thomas Harry Caddick.

“My name is Thomas Harry Caddick, but everyone calls me Harry!”

Harry is a Field Service Engineer who has been with Precisa for just over two years. As a Field Service Engineer he travels the country to ensure that Precisa’s customers have access to quality support and service updates. To make sure that our client’s wide range of balances are always operating at their most precise he has been given intensive training which has been very useful.

Before he started working with us in the summer of 2017 he worked in a laboratory at the University of Portsmouth. It was here that he earned his BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and Genome Science and a MPhil in Synthetic Genetic Engineering. It was during his time working in the laboratory that Harry’s keen eye for detail became obvious, which was a skill he easily transferred to his role at Precisa. Harry believes that to provide a quality service your attention to detail has to be second to none.

Calibration and Service – South East

Harry explains travelling around the country is one of his favourite aspects of the job. He covers sites all along the South East including:  Cornwall, Devon, Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Dorset, East Sussex, West Sussex and Kent. Harry thinks that the best aspect of travelling is being in a new working environment every day or week, as well as getting to meet lots of new people. “As long as I have a good audiobook, or there’s something good on the radio, I enjoy driving!”

When he’s not working, Harry likes to keep himself busy. He tells me about his wife Charlotte, and how they enjoy eating out and going to the cinema. They recently saw Avengers Endgame which they both really enjoyed. They also like going on long scenic walks with their dog Monty.
